Introduction - Take Two

For those of you who've read my first post...sorry, I just had to get that off my chest. I haven't decided whether I'll delete it or not, because the subject matter contained therein does represent a bit of what I believe and try to experience.

But it is a bit much, isn't it?

Anyway, I think it might be a better introduction if I let you know exactly what I intend to do with this blog. First, a few factoids about me and the world of blogging:

1. While this is not the first blog I've ever begun, it is the first one that has exceeded one (1) post. Sad, eh?
2. In order to maintain my own interest in writing this blog, thus keeping it from joining all the others in my blog "graveyard," I'll most likely be breaking off into frequent tangents concerning matters "bothe wondrous and divers"--as a medieval scribe might have put it.
3. I am not a medieval scribe, but I adore the Middle Ages as a historical period and sometimes I tend to slip into Middle English...esque...style. I apologize in advance for this.

Okay, so now that's over with, allow me to present you with my mission statement:

"To journey through thought, consciousness, intellect, and intuition, striving to give the Epic Reality in which I live some semblance of meaning in the form of words, which are, after all, fleeting and therefore--within the grand scheme of the Epic--quite meaningless after all. Or are they?"

As long as we're all quite clear on that.

With my next post I'll be providing some autobiographical information that may help explain my thought processes, beliefs, and general weirdness. Stay tuned!
